At Brandix, we are providing a culture where women can thrive both in their careers and personal lives. Our commitment to creating an inclusive environment is reflected in our policies and initiatives that support women’s success. With a 79% overall female representation (FY23/24) group-wide, we demonstrate our dedication to empowering women.

Our leadership / career development and mentoring programs are designed to help women advance at every stage of their careers, regardless of department. We celebrate the accomplishments of our women leaders across various sectors, including Imali De Silva, who was able to leverage her experience at Brandix to automate the order entry process for a division at Brandix which resulted in enhancing efficiency and productivity. Heshala Rodrigo is another example of how through job rotation at Brandix, she transitioned from a technical role to a leader in marketing for a kid’s wear category.

We are honored to apply for the Women Friendly Workplace Award, which resonates with our commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment. Our efforts have led to increased employee satisfaction and have been a catalyst for success and innovation.

We recognize the importance of women empowerment networks and have established platforms and programs to support this cause. Our “Rise Up” platform for Assistant Managers and above has already conducted 3 networking sessions. Our tiered training programs show significant progress, with Staff to Executive Development Programme, Associate to Staff, Executive Development Programme, Management Development Programme, Rise for Her, and an
impressive 6,962 graduates out of 10,865 females enrolled in the Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement program. Additionally, we offer BRAVO for Confidence Building and Brandix Learning and Development initiatives to nurture high-potential talent.
